The Emperor's New Clothers – Tickets available for purchase now!

“Dress for success” is good advice that the Emperor takes whole-heartedly, wanting to impress new friends. But where to stop? When the clothes (and other people’s opinions) become more important than the people of the kingdom, trouble brews. To help their beloved Emperor find the way back to his heart, his true friends create an elaborate “birthday suit” for the Emperor to wear for his birthday parade celebration. The Emperor quickly and humbly learns that sometimes “less is more”!

The Emperor's New Clothes audition is Monday, November 4. & 5:30pm
Kindergarten age children through 12th grade are encouraged to tryout.

Shows will be performed on Saturday, November 9 at 3:00 PM AND 5:30 PM.

Missoula Children’s Theatre

This popular, tried and true theatre residency has been a PAA experience since the 1980’s. Auditions are called on Monday for students, K – 12, and by Saturday a full scale musical production is produced by a professional actor and a director with over 50 local students. Three theatre style workshops are held during the week with varying topics. Missoula Children’s Theatre Residency’s mission fosters creativity and enhances innate capabilities in individuals all over the world by providing access to community-driven performing arts experiences. The organization strives to transcend any barriers such as language, culture, financial resources, and unique needs, to transform lives by actively engaging people in the arts.
